9/11

The world is trying to heal for nine long years. Some like to add salt to the old wound and won’t let it heal. It’s not about literal interpretation of some laws or about exploiting rights for individual freedom. It’s about compassion; it’s about respecting human sentiments about an unforgettable tragedy, about learning from the past. At this twin-tower many died reminding us how not to do an act that divides us. They gave their life for no fault of theirs regardless of their race, caste, color, heritage, religion, sex, age, wealth, etc. Why do we have to erect at this battlefield a mosque, church, temple, or synagogue just because we have the right to do so? That will not honor the dead. Remember the Gettysburg Address? I hope these dead did not die in vain.
