Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all! No, I did not make any new resolution at all. Still trying to achieve the old ones – listen to others, not be preachy, check off my “bucket list” items, control emotions, help others, …I continue to prepare for the holidays every year to create a festive mood by hanging lights, decorating Christmas tree to welcome the children for their annual visit. They come. We open gifts, take pictures, enjoy food and then they leave. We laugh and no matter how much I hate to see anyone cry or get upset, we manage to do that as well. I feel that as I add years, the world understands me less and less. Or perhaps the generational gap is widening.

Anyway, another year is gone. Yesterday is dead and gone. It's water under the bridge. I try to live “today” and prepare for “tomorrow”. It is a new dawn every morning. It is a beautiful, cool, sunny morning outside my window. I wish all a beautiful sunshine in everyday of their lives. Let there be love and peace on earth.
