Six Years and Counting

9/11, Twin Towers, Iraq War – not behind yet. A stupid war, an eye for an eye policy got way more people killed than 9/11 casualty. Leave Iraq to the Iraqis. King George has done enough damage for both Iraq and our great land. If Iraqis are meant to survive, they will find a way on their own, even if it means civil war, even if it means splitting the country three ways. Did it not happen in this very country (north vs. south) to prove or disprove the hypothesis of a union by the founding fathers? Record shows 359528 people died in the civil war between 1861 and 1865, but this nation endured.

History will not forget this uncalled for war imposed on Iraq by a reactionary and ill-advised government of the US. But it’s water under the bridge now. Let us put an end to this war, bring our soldiers home, and let the Iraqis rebuild their lives. If the world wants to help those unfortunate Iraqis, help them in rebuilding their lives, rebuilding their land (that we brutally destroyed), embrace the orphans and wounded, win over with love the ones that despise us to bring them back to senses. Let us remember the victims of 9/11, let their souls rest in peace and not use them as an excuse for more bloodshed. Let the Iraqis have their home back. There has been enough blood spilled on Iraqi soil.
