About Me
- Name: Red River
- Location: United States
A middle aged professional without a mid-life crisis (yet). Completed a few marathon runs, rode bicycle from Houston to Austin, played soccer after 40, did sky diving (tandem) on October 21, 2005, climbed Mount Kilimanjuaro on Oct 9, 2008, visited Antarctica in Dec 2010. Written a few books - technical and non-technical. Returned home to Houston on June 1, 2011 after a 2-year assignment in Africa (Luanda, Angola). No more Luanda HASH run through the slums of Luanda or a weekend run to Pointe Final in Ilha. Spent almost a year in Bogota, Colombia as an expat again, returning home at the end of May 2015. Now I am fighting Houston traffic every morning once again. Life in the big city!

Dear Red River,
All the best in your journey.May you show us the way to believe in our cause , and pursue it.
Sorry I've been out of touch. But the series of bomb blasts, temple stampede killings, murders - have left me too busy picking up my thoughts and contemplating on solutions. Ofcourse I'm selfish. I worry for I worry for the safety of my family, and for their future. I hope we should now teach such "selfishness" to all growing children. If every child starts worrying about his/her family - there will be no one to make the bomb.
But I'm still hopeful. There is hope alive. There are good thoughts. We just need to nurture them.
All the best, Red River.
Peace, love, empathy,
- Suwansiri
